My love of red carpet glamour remains robust! As I watched the 2011 Golden Globe Awards I decided to create my own fantasy Golden Globe categories and after much thought and deliberation I have decided that the Golden Globes for best dressed females should go to…drum roll… . Olivia Wilde (Tron actress). I loved this Marchesa gown as soon as I saw the top half of it. Olivia just about gets away with the bottom of the dress being size of a small country. The graduated sparkle is fabulous, all the sparkle is fabulous – it’s All Thingz Nice.
Sofia Vergara was scotch bonnet hot in this gorgeous Vera Wang dress. To wear red on a red carpet is risky, you either clash or you steal the show. Best Black Gown Award: I decided to have a fantasy best black gown category because the person wearing the best black dress was actually a TV host and she beat Eva Longoria and Halle Berry to snatch the price! The award goes too: Giuliana Rancic
Men and their attire largely get over looked at these awards ceremonies but I’ll have you know that a tuxedo is not just a tuxedo and some men can wear a tux or a suit and tie better than others, so the award for the best dressed male should go to Robert Pattinson, and my decision has nothing to do with the fact he is fresh and good looking:
Oscars aka Academy Awards next month – so much to look forward too!

“What Happened Next” on Dragons’ Den is the latest series following each Dragon as they return to their multimillionaire lifestyles. James Caan spends a high-octane day at the race track with his wife and two daughters and talks about his current investments made in the Den. Check it out, as the Goldgenie brand is featured. A group of American soldiers led by Clint Eastwood venture into enemy territory during WWII to steal a huge cache of gold bars located in a bank vault. It’s certainly unlike most heist films in that it’s also a war movie, and both the robbers and the bank guards are armed with tanks.
