Gold plating Hindu temples

Neasden and the Sri Murugan are two of the largest Hindhu temples out side of Eastern Asia every single block of marble, stone, ornament even tiles for the roof were imported from India except of course the gold that was obtained from Goldgenie:

After gold plating religious artefacts, statues and fittings in both temples within 2 years of each other, Laban says that when Goldgenie got the job of gold plating the temple’s he asked why was he picked over the other companies to take on this project, the answer given by the committee in charge of works told him “ We prayed about it and your company was presented to us”

The Neasden temple is an ongoing project with the last job being the gold plating of the dieties crowns (we are not allowed to display pictures of this)
